Viator review: Half Day Cooking Class in Tuscany among the Chianti Vineyards
We’ve eaten at plenty of fine restaurants, but this experience was a true highlight of our trip to Italy! The personalized experience, making every last dish from scratch in an atmosphere that was welcoming and warm, was part of a perfect day.
We made tiramisu, pasta from scratch, bruschetta, pesto, and chicken in a white wine sauce, all in the kitchen of a 400 acre winery… we explored the wine cellar and ate al fresco at sunset in what was more of a painting than anything else. It was a perfect day.
Our chef was patient and experienced and we were immediately at home with her - couldn’t have asked for more

My wife and me attended the cooking class with Giuditta, we enjoyed it very much, had a great time together, my wife is vegan so Giuditta made various adjustments and we had special dishes for her.
We then had a great dinner at the garden, in front of the view.
Everything was so tasty and we learned a lot. Very recommended.

A truly unique experience. Our chef shared her passion, skills , and patience to help us create a sumptuous Italian feast. We cooked our meal in an authentic 18th century kitchen and the villa is located amongst the rolling hills of Tuscany nestled between vineyards and olive tree farms. Worth every penny!

We had Guidetta come and teach us pasta making at our holiday house. Our family of six loved the experience and getting the secret tips on the perfect lasagne, pesto, tiramisu and making pasta. She was knowledgeable, fun and made us all feel comfortable and involved. And we got to eat all the yummy food for lunch and so much pasta left over so we made more for dinner!

Linda's review on Viator Amazing family experience. Loved every bit of it from the wine cellar tour and tasting to the cooking lessons. Our chef Giulia (sp?) was so wonderful with our three children. Making the whole experience so much fun. She also gave terrific instructions every step of the way so our family can take our Italian meals at home to the next level. She even shared some of her cooking secrets passed on to her from her grandmother. After the meal prep we ate outside overlooking beautiful vineyards of the home’s owner. A once in a lifetime experience if you are able to get there we highly recommend it!Show less

Amazing cooking experience! The bruschetta, lasagna, decadent tiramisu - all out of this world!!! Giuditta was fabulous - and her english was terrific! We all felt like she was part of our family by the end of our wonderful evening. Our family of 5, including 3 teenagers had an incredible and VERY hands-on experience. We enjoyed every bit of our evening and the beautiful table outside with wine and the delicious meal was the prize! We would HIGHLY recommend and would most certainly return!

We took a private cooking class with Giuditta on our honeymoon this September, and it was everything we hoped for - and MORE!! Giuditta could not have been a more welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun instructor! She didn’t hold back on any of “grandma’s cooking secrets” or techniques that we could bring back home to our own kitchen. We started with a welcome espresso, then got to work on our own Ragu Bolognese with fresh pasta, a guinea fowl entree, and a bruschetta appetizer and green salad. We had a lovely bottle of Prosecco to enjoy with the starters, and an excellent red wine with dinner. We dined outside with a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills at sunset. After dessert Giuditta even joined us for an amaro and was so lovely to sit and chat with, giving us all sorts of tips for the rest of our trip in Italy (we LOVED Trastevere in Rome thx to her!). We could not recommend this cooking class more. Don’t hesitate, book with Giuditta and you won’t be disappointed! The food was all DELICIOUS as well.

Went here with my family last night. Best experience I have had on vacation In a long time. My whole family enjoyed themselves teenagers included. We learned to make pasta, meat sauce and tieramisu from scratch. Judita was awesome! Real wood burning fireplace.

We really enjoyed our 4 our cooking class followed by dinner. Our chef was marvelous. She taught us how to prepare our 5 course meal and made it both fun and a great learning experience. We would recommend ItCooking to anyone that wants to learn first hand about authentic Italian cooking.

Our chef Guiditta was warm and knowledgeable, walking us through how to make homemade pasta, a meat lasagna and a pesto vegetable lasagna, pasta pomodoro and tiramisu. The class was such fun and the food was delicious!

Llegamos y el paisaje es increíble, con mucho menos calor que en la ciudad. El pueblo de Imprunetta además es muy pintoresco. Llegamos a Villa Saladini, Marcos nos fue a recoger a la estación de trenes y el lugar es maravilloso. La casa muy antigua está perfectamente condicionada para una estadía agradable. Perla y Marco se encargan que no te falte nada. Sobre las clases, muy dedicadas y preparadas, con excelentes materiales, además de Nicola nuestro chef, que fue muy simpatico con nosotros. Es una experiencia totalmente recomendada.

We arrived and the scenery is amazing, with much less heat than in the city. The town of Imprunetta is also very picturesque. Our family of four had the best time with Guiditta. She was talented, funny and most of all, an instructive teacher to us. My two adult daughters and 20 year old granddaughter enjoyed the session so much.
Cooking in a Tuscan farmhouse made the experience all the more authentic, instead of being in a stainless steel kitchen. Guiditta accommodated our special requests and made us feel so welcome. And enjoying the fruits of our labor was pretty special, too.

Dear Giuditta,
It was a great pleasure getting to know you and having the opportunity to learn some of the basics about Tuscan cooking from you. Today I made some purchases - a deep pan, an Atlas pasta machine, a silicon brush and a lemon peeler. Sunday friends are coming for dinner on their way to Lake Garda and I'll have an opportunity to try some of our recipes. I'm thinking of lasagne, salad and Torte della Mamma. That's probably enough for my first time.
A friend has a beautiful home between Munich and Salzburg and I had the idea that maybe we could all meet there a year from now in September and hire you to cater an Italian party. Of course, we'd all help you with the preparations. She has what is called a "Tenna", a huge barn that can be used for parties, so if the weather isn't good for an outdoor event, we have an indoor alternative. This would be sometime around the 16th, which will be my 75th birthday. Would you consider coming?
I hope your new group is going well. Stay well and have a wonderful trip to London. When are you going?

We are a family of four with two childeren ages 10 and 13. We had a great experience with our family. They were very accomodating to our schedule and started an hour early with no notice. Our children were kept involved and the food we prepared was interesting and diverse. We especially enjoyed making the pasta. We have since been able to replicate the dishes at home.

My partner and I were doing a trip through Tuscany when he got called back for work. He booked me into a villa for a two day cooking course while he was away. I had such an amazing time. The cooking classes were absolutely great. We learned how to make pasta and other traditional Tuscan dishes. After preparing the dishes we were treated like 5 star guests by Giudetta who served us while we were overlooking the beautiful Tuscan hills. Giudetta did a great job at hosting the classes as well as making the whole experience memorable. Definitely something everyone must do when in Chianti region! Would love to go back again.

“Most Authentic Tuscan Experience”
We were given a brochure about this tour from a tourist office in Florence, and it was a very authentic and knowledgeable lesson from Judita. The three of us had a lesson on our own and we were given the opportunity to learn how to cook fantastic dishes, while enjoying our lunch on a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany. If you like to cook, this is an amazing day not to be missed in Italy! We were constantly comparing the dishes we made to any restaurant we went to afterwards, and it was hard to beat!
